BACKGROUND

Known as a leader for change, Cara reformed private radiology services in South Australia by disrupting the business model through implementing a renewed focus on the investment in staff, culture and equipment to yield a patient centric radiology service. She is known for her strong leadership style that supports overcoming major hurdles to see success with a committed and high performing team. She has been recognized across the business industry as a Telstra Business Women’s Finalist as well as a finalist in the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

As an accomplished Board Director, Cara’s diverse skills are key to contributing her advice and guidance for success. Her collaborative communication style and willingness to engage respectfully with others to guide good decision making has ensured she is committed and accountable to each and every role she undertakes.

Her professionalism and leadership has her roles expanding to Chair positions in a number of committees and she currently is the Deputy Chair of the North Eastern Community Hospital.

Her ability to micro-assess financial performance makes her an asset to both her consulting advisory roles as well as the Boards that she sits on. She is currently the Chairperson of the NECH Finance Committee as well as the Chairperson of the Finance Working Group in her role for Medical Radiation Practice Board of AHPRA.
